Elevate Healthcare’s Stacie Wood Appointed to NLN Foundation for Nursing Education Advisory Council

Elevate Healthcare is proud to announce that its Chief Nursing Officer, Stacie Wood, has been appointed to the National League for Nursing (NLN) Foundation for Nursing Education Advisory Council — a distinguished body advancing the future of nursing education in the United States.
Established as the nation’s first nursing association, the National League for Nursing serves as the leading voice for nurse faculty and leaders in nursing education. The Council members provide expertise, guidance, and development insight that advance the Foundation’s mission and strengthen the future nursing workforce.
Since joining Elevate Healthcare in 2023, Wood has led the strategic direction of the company’s education, training, consulting, research, and clinical partnership initiatives. She works alongside healthcare organizations worldwide to align clinical expertise with educational innovation — preparing healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
As a proud nurse and healthcare leader, Wood brings nearly 30 years of experience spanning critical care, obstetrics, pediatrics, patient safety, risk management, and healthcare simulation. Beyond her role at Elevate Healthcare, she serves on state and national nursing boards, contributing to the continued advancement of the profession.
“I’m honored to join the NLN Foundation Advisory Council and contribute to an organization that has played such a defining role in advancing nursing education,” said Wood. “I look forward to collaborating with fellow council members to support educators, students, and the future nursing workforce, and to strengthening the vital connection between education and clinical practice.”
Wood joins fellow Elevate Healthcare leader and CEO Brian Truesdale, who also serves on the NLN Foundation Advisory Council. Together, their participation reflects Elevate Healthcare’s ongoing commitment to advancing nursing education and supporting the development of confident, practice-ready healthcare professionals.
Through simulation, educational technology, and clinical training solutions, Elevate Healthcare partners with healthcare organizations and academic institutions worldwide to elevate clinical performance and improve patient outcomes.
