IMSH 2026: Turning Training into Readiness

Healthcare simulation isn’t just about practice — it’s about preparing learners to perform confidently, respond under pressure, and deliver real-world patient care. IMSH 2026 was a living testament to that philosophy, and our team couldn’t be more energized by the incredible response at Booth 308.
From immersive maternal-fetal emergencies to adult respiratory scenarios, attendees experienced firsthand how integrated simulation can transform education into measurable readiness.
Immersive Learning That Resonates
At Elevate Healthcare, we designed our IMSH booth as more than a product showcase — it was a full patient-journey experience. Attendees engaged with Evo, our ultra-high-fidelity adult simulator, tackling real-world emergencies like respiratory distress. Teams competed in the Evo Pit Crew Showdown, assembling the simulator against the clock, proving just how intuitive and modular our technology really is.
Maternal and neonatal scenarios brought critical skills to life:
- Managing Lucina during shoulder dystocia emergencies allowed the practice of recognition, communication, and intervention under pressure — with physiological responses that reacted in real time.
- Coordinating neonatal resuscitation with Luna provided hands-on practice stabilizing newborns while seeing how actions influenced outcomes immediately.
- Performing rapid point-of-care ultrasounds with Catherine from our Vimedix portfolio enabled assessment of fetal presentation and identification of risk factors with lifelike imaging and tactile feedback.
Technology That Supports Teaching and Assessment
Throughout the journey, the booth experience highlighted how our integrated simulation ecosystem enhances learning and assessment. Standardized patients became fully auscultatable with Evo AuRA, delivering consistent heart, lung, and bowel sounds for every learner.
In the debrief and demonstration area, LearningSpace paired with Ehli, our AI assistant, showcased how faculty can quickly and consistently review checklists and SOAP notes — highlighting how AI supports evaluation while educators focus on guiding learners.
Attendees also learned about our Elevate Learning Institute programs through informational materials, exploring how these immersive, outcome-driven pathways can strengthen patient safety, teamwork, and operational readiness in their own programs.
Why IMSH 2026 Was Unmissable
The energy on the exhibit floor was palpable. Professionals from around the globe flocked to Booth 308 to see what the future of simulation looks like — and to experience it hands-on. Whether through friendly competition in the Pit Crew Showdown or navigating complex clinical scenarios, the takeaway was clear: simulation is no longer just a tool for practice — it’s a bridge to real-world competence.
Looking Ahead
IMSH 2026 may be behind us, but its impact will last well beyond the event. We’re excited to continue supporting simulation centers, academic programs, and healthcare organizations in elevating learner readiness, optimizing workflows, and ultimately improving patient outcomes.
